The Town of Newtown would like to encourage everyone, if you have not yet done so, to register your cell phone number, along with your home number, on the CodeRed system.  This can be done, online, by going to www.newtown-ct.gov and clicking CodeRed at the bottom left side of the home page.  This system is used for emergency management health/safety issues only and is under the direction of the Emergency Management Director, the Health Director and the Communications Director.
