The Board of Education is composed of seven  members serving four year terms.  
At the next regular Town Election, November 2009,  four members of the Board are to be elected.
In November 2011, three members of the Board are to be elected.
The number of members of any one political party who may be elected to serve on the Board of Education shall not exceed five of the number of the whole membership of the Board.
