THE MARCH 8TH PUBLIC WORKSHOP
On March 8th, 2003, the Planning and Zoning Commission is sponsoring a public planning workshop on Newtown's Plan of Conservation and Development. The workshop will be divided into seven topical areas, as described below. Your participation in the workshop will be your opportunity for planning for the future of your Town.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Ten Planning Memoranda have been prepared as background to facilitate the update of Newtown’s Plan of Conservation and Development (POCD). These planning documents are available for review by clicking HERE the Town’s Land Use Office located in Canaan House on the Fairfield Hills Campus and at the Cyrenius Booth Library, located at 25 Main Street.

The seven workshop topics are listed below. You may click on each title to learn more about the issues, goals and strategies that the Planning and Zoning Commission would like to discuss for each workshop.
