2012 Summer Jobs closed on March 13th, 2012

Make a difference this summer and secure a rewarding position while enjoying the outdoors. The Parks and Recreation Department will be accepting applications from December to March 13th, 2012. Applications for certified positions must have copies of all certifications attached, otherwise, they will not be accepted.
n Site Director - Day Camp - Must be over 21 years of age.
n Assistant Site Director - Day Camp - Must be over 21 years of age.
n Day Camp Counselor - Must be 16 years of age by June 30th (NO Exceptions).
n Teen Adventure Camp Counselor - Must be 18 years old.
n Volunteer Counselor-in-Training - Must have completed the 9th grade (NO Exceptions).
n Lifeguards - Must have current Red Cross Lifeguard/Waterfront Training Certification.
n Water Safety Instructors - Must have current Red Cross Certification.
n Park Rangers - Must be 18 years old and hold a valid CT drivers license.
n Gate Attendants - Treadwell Park - Must be 15 years old.
n Gate Attendants - Lake Lillinonanah - weekends and holidays only - Must be over 21 years of age.
n Waterfront Director - Must be over 21 years of age.
n       Assistant Waterfront Director - Must be over 21 years of age.
n Park Warden - Eichlers Cove Beach - Must be over 21 years  of age.
        Please note all Park Warden applications will be accepted until February 1st.
