Combining unusual historic and natural assets, this park is located on Huntingtown Road.  Its historical assets include two mills and dams, which date back to the early part of the 19th century.  Its natural assets include rare beauty, and a remarkable diversity of habitats which provide home to an unusually large number of species of plants and animals.  There are several trails on which to hike and ample parking.

Directions ( From the Flagpole)
South on Route 25
Straight through 2 traffic lights
Turn right onto Orchard Hill Road
Turn left onto Huntingtown Road
The entrance to the park is approximately 1/2 mile on the right
The park entrance is at the end of the road on the right

Rules  
** Park hours are 9 am until sundown
** NO alcoholic beverages permitted in parking area or park
** NO roaming dogs. Dogs must be kept on leash
** NO campfires or overnight camping
** NO littering! Assist in keeping the Nature Center clean...take trash when you leave
** Please report any damage to the Parks and Recreation office
** Please report lost articles or any damages to the Parks and Recreation  office.
