Make a difference this summer and secure a rewarding position while you enjoy the outdoors. The Parks and Recreation Department will be accepting applications for the following summer positions from January 2nd thur April 11, 2008 unless otherwise noted on application. Applications for certified positions must have copies of all certifications attached.
Treadwell weeks July 7th - 18th & July 21st - August 1st, August 4th - 15th are full
Lifeguards-must have current Red Cross Lifeguard training certification.
Park Rangers—Must be 18 years old and hold a valid CT drivers license.
Site Director-for Grade 5 & 6 Camp, Teen Adventure Camp or Day Camp - Must be over 21 yearts of age. Must be able to oversee daily operations of camp, with the ability to plan & lead activities for children. To train, supervise & evaluate counselors and CITs. Maintain good public relations with campers, parents and other staff members and general public. Enforce all camp rules. To assure campers have fun. And more! CLOSED
