The Administrative/Support Service Bureau is composed of those departmental subdivisions that provide assistance and support functions to the Operations Bureau subdivisions and the Department's Administration (ex. Records Division). The Administrative/Support Services Bureau has the responsibility for the compilation of statistics and the summarization and analysis of all reports and offenses. It is the information center of the Department and serves as the repository of all official and permanent police records or reports not otherwise
specifically and properly retained at other divisions of the Department. The Administrative/Support Services Bureau is comprised of such personnel as may be assigned by the Chief of Police. The Chief of Police shall assign personnel to the various clerical and technical functions of the Bureau for its proper operation and the Chief or his designee shall supervise their work performance.
