Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run 2008
The Newtown Department of Police Services will again be participating in the Connecticut Special Olympics Torch Run on June 4, 2008. The Newtown leg of the route will begin at the Bethel town line at Route 302, traveling down Sugar St., north onto Main St., down Church Hill Rd., and ending at the I-84 exit 10 on ramp. From there participants travel by vehicle to Connecticut State Police Troop A in Southbury where the Torch Run resumes.
