The Operations Bureau is the largest division in the Newtown Department of Police Services. The Operations Bureau is responsible for responding to all calls for service and handling the day to day functions of providing for protection and safety within the borders of the Town of Newtown. The Operations Bureau is composed of those departmental subdivisions that carry out the Newtown Department of Police Services' mission of providing police services directly to the public.
