Traffic Agent Unit
Traffic Agents are under the general direction of the
Operations Bureau Commander.
Traffic Agents are routinely inspected and evaluated
to ensure the safety of our community..
Our Traffic agents are part-time unarmed, non-sworn civilian employees of the Newtown Department of Police Services whose primary assignments are the direction of motor vehicle/pedestrian traffic movement and parking control for the public and parochial school system.
