-All registered voters or property owners with properties valued at least  $1000 may vote. 
-Property owners must be on the Grand List as of October 2012.
-You must be a citizen of the USA

The Borough of Newtown will be holding their election on May 6th 2013,
it will be held in the Registrars Office 6 a.m.until 8 p.m.
-Only registered borough residents may vote in this election.

The Registrars office protects the voting rights of all Newtown residents.  We maintain on a continuing basis a list of all voters including new voters.  We also obtain and train election workers and we insure the proper maintenance of voting machines.  We conduct an annual canvass to insure the accuracy of our voting lists.
