There is daily, door-to-door minibus service Monday to Friday provided by the SweetHart Transportation District for any elderly and/or disabled residents.
Service is provided to the center, to doctor appointments, & to shopping. On Fridays, the bus alternates between Danbury Fair Mall & Wal Mart. You need to call 1-800-830-4399 when you are ready to be picked up after your appointment.
A small fee is charged per ride. .65 cents in town each way. (Newtown) .75 out of town, Danbury, Bethel.
During the week, reservations must be made in advance by calling 748-2511. Applications for the bus are available at the center.
