The Teen Center provides a safe environment for youth in Grades 5-12 to come together and have fun.  
The rules are simple: no drugs or alcohol are permitted on the premises.

High School Nights Grades 9-12 only
Every first & last Friday night of the month
7:00-11:00 pm

Middle School Nights Grades 7-8 Only
Every second Friday of the month, 7-9:30pm

Grades 5-6 Nights
Every third Friday of the month, 7-9:30pm

Drop-In Cost: $3 Per Night, Per Person

Middle School Fridays at The Garage
The Teen Center is open on Friday afternoons from 3-5pm for middle school students. We have foosball, air hockey, pool, gaming, music & more available. It's a comfy, cozy and casual spot for Grades 7 & 8 students to hang out with friends. Attendance is supervised.
 
Book Your Band
Have your own band? If you are a performer (solo, in a band, aspiring stand-up comic, actor/director, magician, etc.) and would like
to perform at The Teen Center, contact us. Available Friday or Saturday nights from 7-11pm for youths of all ages.
 
Rent the Teen Center
Have your birthday party, event, fundraiser or  youth group meeting at the Teen Center.  
Events must be scheduled two weeks in advance. Access provided to pool tables, foosball tables, air hockey table, video games and refrigerator.

Cancelation Policy:
Two weeks' notice prior to your rental date must be given for cancelations. Reservations canceled after the two week period will result in the loss of your deposit. No refunds are given on insurance paid.

Teen Center Board
The Teen Center is always looking for Middle/High School students who are interested in joining the Teen Center Board. The Board meets once a month at 7:30 pm at help develop, plan and promote events and activities for the Teen Center. Please call Newtown Parks and Recreation office if you are interested. Meetings are held every second Friday of the month at the Teen Center.
 
Community Service
Do you need to complete volunteer hours? Plan a one-time event, take on a project, hold a fundraiser, get your girl scout award or help us revamp the facility. Call us or stop by the Career Center at the High School.
