FROM THE FLAGPOLE:
Dickinson Park - Elm Drive and Brushy Hill Road
South on Rte 25 to intersection with Rte 302 (traffic Light)
Turn right onto Rte 302
Turn left on Elm Drive
The First Entrance to the park is on the right, past the cemetery and Liberty Ball fields. (The tennis courts and pavilion can be reached from this entrance.)
The Second Entrance to the park is on Brushy Hill Road
Drive past the first entrance
Turn right onto Brushy Hill Road
The second entrance is immediately on the right through the black gates. (The skatepark, playground, baseketball court, pavilion and ball field can be reached from this entrance)
Treadwell Park and Tilson Field- Philo Curtis Road, Sandy Hook
Turn East on Church Hill Road
Straight through 5 traffic lights onto Riverside Road
Past Sandy Hook Fire House (on right)
Turn right on Philo Curtis Road
The entrance to the park is on the right - look for the tennis courts
To reach the pool, pavilion, basketball courts, Tilson Field and playground areas, frive through the parking lot past the tennis courts, the turf fiedl and ball fields.
Pee Wee Fields - Old Farm Road behind Reed School; Baseball
South on Rte. 25
Straight through light at Rte. 302
Turn left at next light onto Wasserman Way
Past Queen Street (on left)
Turn left at next light onto Trades Lane
Turn left at “T”
Ballfields are on the right
Glander Field - Fairfield Hills – Mile Hill Road South, Newtown
South on Rte. 25
Straight through light at Rte. 302
Turn left at next light onto Wasserman Way
Past Queen Street (on left)
Up hill just after railroad overpass
Turn right onto Mill Hill Road South
Ball field is on the left
Liberty Fields – Elm Drive, Newtown
South on Rte. 25 to intersection with Rte. 302
Turn right onto Rte. 302
Turn left onto Elm Drive
Ball fields are on the right, just past the cemetery
*Please note – No on-the-street parking. Cars will be ticketed or towed.
Additional parking is available at Dickinson Park at the Tennis Courts
Walnut Tree Hill – Bridge End Farms Road, Sandy Hook
Turn East on Church Hill Road
Straight through 4 lights
Turn Left at next light onto Glen Road
Approx. 1.5 miles, turn left onto Walnut Tree Hill Road
Turn right onto Bridge End Farms Road
Ball field is on the right
Eichler's Cove Marina and Beach - Old Bridge Road, Sandy Hook
Turn east on Church Hill Road
Straight through 5 traffic lights at the 5th light turn right onto Washington Ave. (Rte 34)
Go throught 2 lights and bear left continue Rte 34
From 2nd light travel 4.7 miles then turn left onto Great Quater Road
Them make a quick right onto Old Bridge Road and follow to the end
Lake Lillinonah - Boat Ramp - Hanover Road, Newtown
North on Rte 25
Turn right at the Veterans Memorial onto Hanover Road
Turn left after bridge, staying on Hanover Road
Follow Hanover Road to the end
Past Pond Brook Road and State boat ramp
Stay straight on Hanover Road
The park entrance is at the end of the road on the right
Orchard Hill Nature Center - Huntingtown Road, Newtown
South Rte 25, straight through 2 lights
Turn right on Orchard Hill Road
Turn left onto Huntingtown Road
The entrance to the park is appoximately 1/2 mile on the right
Hawley School/Taylor Field - 29 Church Hill Road, Newtown
Turn East on Church Hill Road
Drive .4 miles (thru traffic light)
Turn left into Hawley School - Taylor Fields are in the back
Newtown Middle School - 11 Queen Street, Newtown
Turn East on Church Hill Road
Drive .4 miles and turn right at the traffic light onto Queen Street
Drive .1 m iles
Middle School is on the left
Fairfield Hills Fields - Trades Lane, Newtown
South on Main Street straight through to 2nd traffic light
At second light turn left on to Mile Hill/Wasserman Way
Continue to next traffic light
Turn right at traffic light onto Trades Lane
Once on the campus fields are on the left and baseball field is straight back
S.A.C. Field - 28 Riverside Road, Sandy Hook
East on Church Hill Road
Drive throughn 5 traffic lights 1.5 miles
Stay straight onto Riverside Road
The field is .1 miles on the right
Sandy Hook School Fields - 12 Dickinson Drive, Sandy Hook
East on Church Hill Road
Drive throughn 5 traffic lights 1.5 miles
Stay straight onto Riverside Road .2 miles
Take 1st right onto Dickinson Road
