    A classic New England church built in 1792, the Meeting House provides the perfect location for non-denominational, inter-faith religious or civil ceremonies, renewal of vows, civil unions and commitment ceremonies. It is located in the center of historic Newtown, a traditional New England village in Fairfield County, Connecticut.

  • Newtown Women's Club 
    We are a member of the General Federation of Women's Clubs, an international organization. As a member of the General Federation of Women's Club, the world's largest and oldest women's service organization, we are dedicated to enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service. The club schedules a luncheon meeting for the third Thursday of each month, September through May. Prospective new members may call Marg Studley (203-426-3651) or Eloise DiCandido (203-426-2477).
  • Visiting Nurse Association of Newtown Inc. 
    The VNA meets the first Tuesday of every month, September through June. In September, the meeting is on the second Tuesday and is also the Annual Meeting. All meetings are held in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Center. With the cooperation of the Bethel VNA (203-792-0864) and Danbury VNA (203-792-4120), we are able to offer nursing, physical therapy and nursing aide services to Newtown residents. VNA 203-364-0803

    SNAN has been providing help for cats and dogs in Newtown and surrounding towns since 1982.The group provides information and/or financial assistance, including required vaccines.     Women Involved in Newtown (WIN) is a non-profit organization made up of women of all ages from all over Newtown who are interested in working together for the goodwill of our community (and often neighboring communities).

  • The Newtown Fund 
    The Newtown Fund, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization, established in 1959. Working with Newtown Social Services, the Newtown Fund acts as a safety net and support to Newtown residents by paying for food, fuel assistance, utility bills, rent and medical expenses. The Newtown Fund's most significant activity is the Adopt A Family program at the Christmas holidays, but the Newtown Fund works closely with Newtown Social Services to provide year-round emergency assistance. The Newtown Fund also supports community non-profit organizations such as Kevin's Community Center and Masonicare at Newtown.

    The Center for Support and Wellness is the single point of entry which connects members of the community with wellness resources through a strong referral system and dedicates staff to families and individuals in need.
