New Fingerprinting Procedures and Services

ALL PERSONS NEEDING TO BE FINGERPRINTED MUST FIRST PRE-ENROLL.  SEE THE ATTACHED INSTRUCTIONS FOR FINGERPRINTING PROCEDURES.

Fingerprinting Services to Better Serve our Residents

PUBLIC FINGERPRINTING SERVICES ARE HELD ON THE
2nd THURSDAY of the month from 3:00 P.M – 6:00 P.M IN THE FRONT LOBBY OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT:  191 SOUTH MAIN STREET,  NEWTOWN, CT  06470
(except for State Holidays and severely inclement weather)  

 No appointment is necessary
 Please bring at least one form of a government-issued ID and bring your applicant tracking number printout from the pre-enrollment process (See attached instructions)
 Open to residents of other towns or cities
 Face masks for sick persons is required.
 Fingerprint Cost: $30. Payable by: Cash, Money Order, Bank Check, or Business Check (checks made out to Biometric Identification Services) Credit Cards and Personal Checks are NOT accepted. Notary Public Services also available ($5 per item) 
 Fingerprinting services are provided by Biometric Identification Services.
