Newtown Police Make Extradition Arrest
15-11287 Sex Offenses

On 10/16/2019 The Newtown Police Department extradited and booked Stephen Todd Sanders for 22
counts of sexual related offenses. During the initial investigation the Newtown Police Department were
informed that Stephen Sanders had left the country with an ultimate destination of the Marshall Islands.
The Newtown Police Department in conjunction with the Southbury Police Department, Waterbury Police
Department and the Pinellas County Sherriffs Office in Florida completed the investigation and were
