Car Thief Arrest

On 10/13/2018 Newtown Police and Danbury police orchestrated a manhunt for Suero who had four outstanding warrants for his arrest.  One warrant had eleven charges out of Newtown, with the most serious charges being felonies, Assault on a Police Officer, Engaging in Pursuit, Reckless Operation and Larceny 1st Degree (stolen vehicle).  The three remaining warrants were out of the Towns of Bethel and Torrington on Failure to Appear charges.

Suero was held over the weekend on a combined $104,500 bond and transported on 10/15/18 to Danbury Superior Court for arraignment.
