Newtown Police Officers Helping a Veteran in Need

The men and women of the Newtown Police Department love to show our support for all of our veterans. One way that we show our support is by helping those who have returned home from battle with mental and or physical injuries. We have teamed up with Heart911.org and are helping a wounded veteran by assisting in referbishing his home. Over the last year, officers from the Newtown Police Department have taken time from their busy schedules to lend a helping hand in this project. On April 20th Officers, Flynn, Penna, Ruszczyk, Harold and Kullgren spent a day helping Heart911.org put the finishing touches on veterans home. God Bless America!
