Who do I contact if I am new to town and want to inquire about beginning to recycle?

If you move to a new house, you will need to come to the highway garage to pick up a green recycling bin. We are located at 4 Turkey Hill Road. If you are heading down Route 25 towards Monroe take a left on to Pecks Lane. The road is not a true left, but runs parallel with Route 25. Once on Pecks Lane you will take the first left, which is Turkey Hill Road. The highway garage is the first building on the right. When you come to pick up your bin we can give the information on what can be recycled and what day your pick up will be.

If you move to an existing house it is possible that the previous owner left you a bin. If this is the case you can just contact the highway garage by phone (203) 270-4300, fax (203) 426-9968, or by email and we can mail you the information about what can be recycled and what day your pick up is.
