Fingerprinting Services to Better Serve our Residents
PUBLIC FINGERPRINTING SERVICES ARE HELD ON THE
2nd THURSDAY of the month from 3:00 P.M – 6:00 P.M IN THE FRONT LOBBY OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT: 191 SOUTH MAIN STREET, NEWTOWN, CT 06470
(except for State Holidays and severely inclement weather)
No appointment is necessary
Please bring at least one form of a government-issued ID and bring your applicant tracking number printout from the pre-enrollment process (See attached instructions)
Open to residents of other towns or cities
Face masks for sick persons is required.
Fingerprint Cost: $30. Payable by: Cash, Money Order, Bank Check, or Business Check (checks made out to Biometric Identification Services) Credit Cards and Personal Checks are NOT accepted. Notary Public Services also available ($5 per item)
Fingerprinting services are provided by Biometric Identification Services. Any questions relative to fingerprinting can be directed to B.I.S. at (888) 436-8778. If you cannot make the appointment in Newtown, additional locations and times of fingerprinting can be found on their website at: http://www.bioidentserv.com/web/
