The Newtown Police are investigating the Larceny of one of their "Speed Sentry" signs/display units.
Case # 2011-20411
- The sign described at a white metal box that contains an LED display and Radar Unit.
- The units estimated value is approx. $4,000.00
- The theft occurred somewhere between 10/22/11 and 10/23/11 from a utility pole located on Point O Rocks Road.
- This is classified as Larceny Third Degree (Class D Felony).
- The Department is asking for the public assistance in locating the unit and all calls/tips will be kept confidential.
