Pay Taxes, Water & Sewer Online

Credit/Debit Card or Electronic Check Payments for Fees and Taxes

CONVENIENT PAYMENTS ONLINE OR BY PHONE

Please click here to pay taxes by credit/debit card or electronic check online. There is a fee charged by the payment processor for this service.

  • Credit card is 2.5% with a minimum charge of $2.00.
  • Visa & Mastercard Debit card are a flat fee of $3.95 for tax payments. For water or sewer payments, the fee is 2.5%
  • Electronic checks up to $10,000 is a flat fee of $1.95. Over $10,000 is a flat fee of $10.00.

The system will:

  • Tell you the total of your payment including the appropriate fee
  • Issue an onscreen confirmation number and a printable digital receipt. Confirmation is emailed to users who request it. The charge will also appear on your credit card statement: the tax amount on one line, the convenience fee amount on a separate line.

Bill Lookup/Pay Online - For the convenience of the taxpayer, the Tax Collector has a service agreement with Point & Pay to accept tax payments and to look up your tax bill.

Delinquent Motor Vehicle Taxes - 

  • Please note: To obtain DMV clearance, ALL vehicles registered under your name must be paid in full.
  • If you choose to pay your Motor Vehicle taxes online and need DMV clearance; you MUST pay with a credit or debit card to obtain an immediate release. Using an e-check will hold up the clearance for 10 business days. 
  • Please contact the Tax Office at 203-270-4320 AFTER making your online card payment so that we may verify your payment and clear your name with the DMV.

Please note: If you are making a partial payment(s), you need to add the full amount due on the bill to the shopping cart. When done, go to the shopping cart (located at the top right of the screen), and select "checkout". Then select the "pay now" option, and enter the amount of the partial payment(s) on the next screen (bill by bill). Then complete payment information and continue until the transaction is complete.
